BGS > S.G.Agent

BGS 提供了一套完整的数据库与Oracle 11i 在线、后台监控方案.
设计目标：监控 Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 databases，Oracle 11i.

Create a 'picture' of the organization. This helps to understand the activity in the whole organization infrastructure and not only each database as a separate unit.
Record and see (with Hi-End Graphic User Interface) all the activities performed by the Database while an application is running. This helps identifying operations that consume most of the time and resources.
Monitor applications that work with the Database. Define specific checks to monitor the application. SG.Agent contains a large bank of checks and you can create new checks to monitor any application that access the Database using a powerful and friendly MMI.
Create a 'package' of the monitor designed to monitor a full application's infrastructure. Supply a monitoring tool to your customers together with your application.

空间监控功能满足如下目标：

确定数据库对象的增长.
预测数据库对象的扩展对空间的需求.
预测数据库对象是有一个固定的增长或反常的增长(例如: 最高增长率).
规划系统未来某几段时间对存储的确切需求，给存储规划提供科学建议.

BGS > External alerting devices

电子告警设备(made by B.G.S.)连接到PC的并行端口.
可以选择手机短信告警，有线警灯或者无线声音告警设备(无线：有效距离100米).
这几种告警方式可以直接由我们的BGS监控软件触发.
